i started a flickr group called "boats on the norfolk broads" with a mind to see what came

up of interest and perhaps to unearth some interesting historic pictures.

i thought some of the members might find this of interest.

any information any one might have for jack robinson regarding his family history would

be welcome.

Both this picture

and this one

show the Dunkirk (no so little) ship Bounty, she is in fine order and currently moored on the Hamble River at Swanwick.  See

Napier Lion engine wanted.

You don't own a boat, a boat owns you.

If you or anyone else is interested, I have 28 photos taken on the Norfolk Broads during a family holiday on a hired yacht, the Blue Diamond, in August 1948.

I can email the folder to you.

Cheers,

The Pom
