Just read in Ship's Monthly that the above was sunk by vandals and although salvaged will be scrapped, same article though talked about the restoration of HDML Medusa, good news bad news touch.

Hello John,

This is terrible news. I was on her a few years ago in Gibraltar and she was absolutely gorgeous & well looked after.  Was she damaged when they lifted her?

I searched for the article online but found nothing.

It's such a shame. I know it's not likely & I can't afford to take her on by myself but if anyone else fancies it, and it's not too late, I'd be happy to join up & contribute.....
Regards
Don

This happens often but we cannot all get moving quickly enough, how about we set up a fighting fund, that we can all contribute to and /or commit to fund if needed. This could be set up to have charitable status and hence be tax free, any thoughts anybody?

Hi Andy, A good idea.  I wonder if  Gibel Tarik is still salvagable.   Does any know how to contact Mr Klaas Spaans to see if we can be of any help.

Hi John,
I've emailed the site twice ( & found a Youtube  video  & left a message there) but no joy.
Was there any contact details in the Magazine article. Here, in deepest darkest Norfolk I can't find a copy of Ship's Monthly!

Cheers

Don

Hi Don,

Ah, yes I to have e-mailed them but had no response, no there were no contact details in the mag sorry to say, not much point in getting the mag if that is what you want, but statement of the b.... obvious I think you can get one via online... as mentioned, if you get in touch with Alan Watson at HDML Medusa...
