Hello,

Very interested to read the piece on the Nasty class by Phil and Ted, and interesting shots of Danish Braves, just heard Brave Challenger? on the Solent now a private yacht, is due to be lifted at Saxon Wharf, thence to Ramsgate for new engines. All good stuff, look forward to seeing and hearing about coastal craft, and restoration attempts.

Hi John

Many thanks, yes very interesting.I didn't think the main site was being updated.See http://www.ptfnasty.com/ptfBoats.html and go to PTF's Today, click on England and see the restored beauty in Penzance. There's also a lot to see on this site generally,it's one of the best I've come across. Also visit Jan Bultman brokerage, they currently have the Danish Braves for sale and also a Sabre class British FPB with plenty of pics of all (the Braves have the original powerplants!).Brave Challenger ex Mercury was built as a private yacht however, although she was built along the lines of the FPBs.

Best Regards,Christian

FYI, Nasty Class "Welsh Princess" in Malta as a luxury yacht.  Owned by English ex-pat I believe.

No, didn't see her. Just spoke  to a surveyor who knew her.  He's surveying her tomorrow.

These are some of the best looking hulls I have seen. Anyone fancy restoring one complete with the Deltics. They are fantastic engines and I know a very nice Deltic engineer! The noise they make is in the same catagory as the Merlin. Makes my flesh creep.
