   A very interesting picture from the collection of Mr A Burton who's father John is believed to be pictured on the extreme right. 
Mr John Burton -an HO Rating -JX 544694 - served in Coastal Forces as a 'Gunner' - joined the RN in 1943 and was discharged in 1946. He became quite proficient at exploding Mines with his Oerlikon - I would guess that this is a 'posed shot' - for if one or more of those Mines detonated - so close to the Stern - the resulting explosion(s) would certainly cause injury and seriously damage the boat 
Can you ID the other Ratings in this shot?
