I was going through some old family photos and came across this one taken at Lyme Regis in approx. 1957/58 (?); my sister, Teresa with RSL 1644 in the background....I'm sure she will be suitably embarassed, but it gives a reasonably good (for an old Box Brownie shot, I think!) port quarter view! Anyone have any memories of the boat?

Hi Tim427,

This is another view of RSL 1644 with a couple of friends at Bridlington.

What ever happened to her?

The one pictured is C-20 ex RSL 1654, not Floria ex RSL 1644.

Ahh so there is at least two RSLs’ in Malta. Well if that one is C-20 ex RSL 1654 do you have any idea where in Malta RSL 1644 is/was?

Do you have any info as to the current use of C-20? (apart from garden ornament)

From Philip Simons;

Floria ex 1644 was a ferry boat at Mgarr, last sighted there Jan 2004.

ex C-20 ex 1654 was sighted at Pieta nautical college in 1993 and 1995, and in the compound at Marsaxlokk in 2003, 04 and 05 (and now 07).

Is it known if her condition has been stable/has any work been done on her or has she just been left to decay?
