Hi

I'm a new member and found this site when looking for information.

I was recently looking through some old photographs at my mothers and came across some of a boat I remember from my childhood. I remember my father working on the conversion from what I was told was a target boat into a runabout for use on the river.

I was pointed in the direction of the Queen Gull boats and from the information found under Other Boats History/CT-78, that would appear to be what the boat was. The information is very interesting and the mention of REME maintaining the radio equipment particularly so as my father was in REME.

Anyway, I thought a photo might be of interest, so see attached, with a younger brother at the wheel. This is on the River Avon at Wyre Piddle near Pershore in about 1962. My mother has other photos with my father at the wheel going down the river, with passengers, which I will get copies of.

Chris
