The Rsl has always been a favourite of mine when I was stationed at 1110 MU immingham Dock we took delivery of two and thought how strongly they were constructed.Real "Belt and Braces"stuff. The only compaints at the time was that the bilges were always awash with engine oil from leaky gaskets on the RR engines. Hello Bill,
Couple of things;

- Can you tell me what the 'C' number signifies? I'm researching RSL 1654 but I've come across some photos of her with C20 on the stern transom.

- I've started a website about 1654 and I'll post a separate item in the forum but thought you might be interested. Hoping to do a restoration. She'll never float again, I'm pretty sure of that, but need to inspect her. For an idea of what I want to do go to -
