MT 2800. Her history is on the "Other boat histories". She has been passed around in SA for a number of years now, with the usual promises of restoration acttion to be taken. However nothing, as usual, transpired. Finally the SA Navy in Simonstown has agreed to take her over, and allow the shipwright appy's in the dockyard, to restore her as a project.
At least this one hasnt slipped the net, and we should see her afloat and active once more.
The pics show her en route from her long time "home" at Westlake, to Simonstown.
Thanks to Pioneer for uplifting the pics for me.
