   Hello!

Does anyone have any ideas whatsoever where this boat may herald from -
we have just aquired her & would like to know more - currently all
leads in Australia have lead nowhere, so any assistance would be
appreciated! All we know is she was used on Sydney Harbour in the mid
40's maybe as a naval launch. I have added some photos. She is
diagonally planked in kauri pine and approx 26-28ft long - Please
Help!

	The reason why I say that is because after the War we owned a similiar boat only on a larger scale, she also had a high bow and was an ex-American Forces beachboat/personnel/stores carrier, very strongly built and built to take the ground without damaging her underwater fitting's, my Father& Uncle spent over two years converting her into a motor cruiser 1946-49 and it was both mine and my brother's introduction to the joy of boat's. As you are most probably aware a lot of American vessel's were based in Australia and I would start looking at pictures of all their surface craft as she look's like an open top(without cabin) picket boat type.
