was curious if any more dark class boats ended up in Malta apart form Clipper and Fighter. both these 2 were laid up for a whilst before supposedly being broken up on 2001. however recently found this hull languishing laid up at the base of the harbour. which is extremely clos in size and shape and is consistent with the paint scheme both know boats were in when broken up. noticeably her bridge and other deck fittings have been removed. which makes me think that after dismantling one of the vessels it proved too much hassle so they simply removed the easily accessible scrap and called it a job done. would be interested to see if one did escape the brakers mostly or just wishful thinking on my part see attached pictures.
