Can you ’ID’ this?

   An interesting picture of a piece of Naval? kit has made an appearance. It seems to be related to 'ASDIC' equipment but can anybody positively identify it. It would be interesting to know whether it is from a Submarine or Surface Ship. Can any 'ASDIC' ratings out there help?
