Hi Christian,

Re above, remember now and had a look back at posts, yes, Mr Manning was trying to get something sorted but as you say, gone quiet on that front, pity but undestandable, as I said she will need a lot of effort and work not to mention cash to sort her out now. A great pity but there it is, perhaps we should focus on vessels already up and running such as MTB 102, support always welcome. However, if "someone" wanted to have a go on GG, would still be interested but only as an "armchair" supporter, though there are no shortages of those I know!.

Hello,

Just picked up Navy News and there is a couple of photos of GG one as an passenger carrirer and one as now, from a lady at the Broads Authority appealing for someone to take it on or it will be broken up.

Hi,

Just picked up Old Glory magazine, article in there about GGs breaking, mentions the Western Ladies as better, certainly now, candidates for preservation. Seems the owner just held onto her asking silly money until she had to be destroyed, such a common story for ships and boats, but applies to other heritage things to I guess. Will get in touch with Steve, article said the WLs had been withdrawn from sale, though one has gone, article would have been written a few weeks back. Happy new year to all,

John
