   Hello there.

I found this forum while checking the length of MTB 49, as I too am another builder of Vic Smeed's famous model. I started mine in 1984, got it to r/c as a working hull but ground to a halt on the torpedo mounts, as it wasn't clear from the plans how they looked. In 2019, looking for a new project, I found it safely tucked away in the loft, and with the aid of online references brought it to a successful conclusion!

Happy to post photos and more info if it would help anyone.
