Hi all,

Just had brief look at the above, very good site and well set up, great to see the history in the public domain, great shots of CF craft.

Thank you 'johnk'
The Veteran's are quite pleased with the results sofar - the site was designed to be easy to use with fairly large Navigating Buttons on each page. This should assist them (and others) to reach the particular item they wish to study. The Newsletter pages are very important to the vets, and in my opinion illustrate how hardy this generation was/is!!
A closer look 'between the lines' however also illustrate to me how shabbily this and previous Gov'ts have treated this dwindling bunch of hero's - still having to wait for spine ops and the like (and in several cases that I personally know of, paying out with their own hard earned cash to get relief by going 'private' - shameful is my comment here)
I'm off my soap box nowWink
But thanks for the good words

Hi there,

Indeed, quite agree also, we fail to take care of our people who have given so much.

The Veterans web site has been updated with unique views of their areas of operations using a Google Map facility. This is an ongoing endeavour and hopefully will eventually illustrate most (if not all) CF bases world wide. The latest addition is the 'Mediterranean Theatre' - by clicking the 'Pins' (or the 'Buttons' below), a brief resume can be seen.
