Hi, this is my first time on BMPT forum - so I hope this is in the right section to discuss.
my question is, as a teenager in the mid 60's I used to join my family on holidays on our small boat moored at what was King's Boatyard in Horning Norfolk. I remember this very large grey MTB being used as a house boat moored constantly on the opposite bank to Kings Boatyard(but in the same dyke) - I think that side was not owned by King's.

For years I used to tie up my fishing boat to the MTB's large chain and fish in the lily pads for large bream and tench- the fact that it never moved and the boats food waste came out by the lily pads attracted the fish - happy days!

Anyway, my point is where is this boat now? I still marvel at its size compared to others in the yard, and I vaguely remember a number still on its Hull - but I have forgotton now what it was, and I also remember it had various 'shed like' additions to its upperdeck as well as its Torpedo launch tube at the front. Where is that now - any idea's??Smile

Hi! Was she by any chance 'Grey Malkin'?

Just a thought; found this picture somewhere! Think she might have been '653'?
