The second last H & D built.Delivered to the RAF after the war as a RTTL(as opposed to an HSL),a subsequent batch was cancelled and the number sequence was taken up from 2747 by the new Vosper design in the early fifties, which was a development of the H & D and had the BPB Co designer George Selman on the design team.

Hi

I am fascinated by this as I am the lucky(?) one who won the auction - I never expected to find out anything about this craft so quickly

If anyone is within strking distance of Canvey in Essex who can help in assessing the state of the craft it would be fantastic and anyone with information about this craft or the Hants and Dorset in general who wishes to get in touch would be very welcome - the plan is to get her capable of being towed to the Medway where it will become a liveaboard

Thanks in advance

Chris
