Hi there everyone,
I am a current serving member of Her Majesties Royal Navy. My wife's cousin's husband's Dad, called William 'Bill' Fenton served onboard MASB 29. I am trying to find any photos of this fine vessel for him. He now lives over in Canada and we are off to see them next week. It would be great to take some photos over to him, if not even some history!
Since I started my research I have been to everyone I could think of including The Imperial War Museum, National Maritime Museum and the Royal Naval Museum. I have so far been unsuccessful. I then found this site and wondered if anyone out there could help me?
Here's hoping!
Colin.

Is this a coincidence? The London Branch of the former CFVA has a 'Bill' Fenton who was on MASB 25 (out of Ramsgate) - he is the Social Secretary of that Branch.
I can put you in touch Colin, if you would like.
Regards

My late father David Charles Prosser served on MASB 29 at Ramsgate he was at some stage manning the oerlikon on the stern as I have some photos of him he became coxwain and I actually have her ensign . I also have a number of photographs a model made by my father and a painting he had commisioned later in life.
