My father LT Gordon MacPherson was one of only two survivors from the destruction of ML916 on the 8th Nov 1944 in the Scheldt Estuary. Nineteen others were killed. I think I have the picture of what happened at the time and the events before and after the sinking through the amazing efforts of CFV Forum but we cannot find the name of the other survivor.  If any families, friends have any idea who he is could you please contact this Forum or CFV or have an idea how we could trace him.
