Hi,

I'm renovating and converting a vessel I purchased 7 months ago which I have now traced back to its original staus of MFV 613.

All I know is that she was built by James Martin & Sons in Granton, Edinburgh in 1945 for the Admiralty before being sold to Trinity House as a work vessel ('Burhou') until 1989.

Would anyone happen to know where I would start in order to find out about her very early days and whether pictures would exist as I'd like to keep her as original as possible, at the same time find out some history about her.

I know many MFV's were built around this time and her hull, structure and engine are all original. Would she have seen the war?

Many thanks for your time. Neil.
