Just read the above on the site, what a pity re Poole but good news on the exstension on the site at Marchwood. Re Ark Royal, I do hope something can be sorted, is the trust registered for Gift Aid? not sure if I have been asked to "tick the box" before, if so, sorry to mention it. Not much more to say really, will have a think about getting along to the AGM, early start from here in Kent but guess that applies to others for an 1100 kick off. I do think that there is definitley a place and future for BMPT, and I wish those who are working to keep things going all the best and they should be acknowledged, running a trust is not easy at the best of times, and things may not always be perfect, but with goodwill I am sure there is a better future ahead.

Just wondered if any response to be made to my enquiry regards Gift Aid, received my postal copy of the Newsletter. Understand Gift Aid would need administrating but is a good way of getting a little extra, albeit of course people need to be standard or upper rate tax payers, and I guess if most members are retired for example it would not be much use, so perhaps I have answered my own question!

Yes we are registered for gift aid, and we will send out gift aid forms with the renewal form.

We are trying all sorts to raise funds, as AR will need some money spent in order to avoid selling her.

Many thanks for your response, appreciate it may be down to membership secretary, but.. could you check to see if I am registered for GA? if not do send me a form and I will tick the appropriate box, vague recollection I may be already, but not sure. Very quiet on the forum at the moment, must all be busy on the vessels! hope things are going better with Ark Royal as per latest news letter. I hope any one who can help dose offer, it would be a serious set back if she can not be fixed.

You are registered as a tax payer John so no problem there...you will get another newsletter shortly cancelling the AGM for now and redo in November...too much happening to deal with at the moment, staving off problems..

Indeed, got another gift aid form and duly sent back with a small something. Had the latest newsletter and noted re AGM, quite understand all that's been going on as per above.
