This vessel was built by Morgan Giles of Teignmouth in 1955 and was advertised several years ago for sale.

Does anyone know of her whereabouts or opwners contact details. I would be interested in purchasing this or similar boat.

yes they are now the property of the dockyard and in the safekeeping of the property trust for future generations to experience and appreciate. Mgb81 will be complete with her armament in the coming months. This trust will succeed where others failed (and broke up other significant craft in their care , noteably 1664 , whaleback 142 and a 16' planing dingy to name but a few!)
Its hugely satisfying to see what started for me as a passionate hobby to be nationally supported and recognised and that these two craft will help tell the largely unknown story of those who served in both coastal forces and the airsea rescue service in the last war .
