The 1955 GRP R/N fast launch I have has no wheelhouse/cabin was one there at all? The boat was built by Hugh Mclean and sons in Renfrew, Scotland in the early 50s Srl No:- 4623 and is based on the 5004 shape from the 1940s. Every thing is original even the Coventry Climax KF 4 cylinder supercharge diesel inboard engine which is in the (STERN) of the boat and not midships like the 5004 The solid copper fuel tank is in the bow. does any one know of this boat? has worked on a simular one? We are completing a full restoration but need some plans or drawings for the top superstructure. The holes are there so there must have been something... Please help.
