Was having a look around on the net and I found this. http://www.nationalhistoricships.org.uk/index.cfm/event/getVessel/vref/2088/pic/1 - http://www.nationalhistoricships.org.uk/index.cfm/event/getVessel/vref/2088/pic/1

However when I searched HMS Nuthatch, it was actually a RAF base on the solway around the late 40s.

anyone know what it was? is? or will be???
sorry if i've not really got the right catagory. Ouch

Hi there,

Very interesting can't really help in identifying her, but hopefully brighter people herewith should be able to help.

The reason I ask is she seems to be dimensionally similar to our White Lady, and looks very similar also. although they were both built around the same period they were from different yards.

And if the blurb about the above one is correct, they must have been together as the White Lady was based at Devonport as QHM launch.

Hi there,

Just seen that you have got White Lady as a registered vessel on the National Histori Ships register, well done, a good move, albeit not meaning a vast amount at the moment, could well be a good move in the long run, all the best,

Looks after her in the long run I believe.

Hi there,
Yes, that was what I was thinking, you do have the option to apply for a small grant if needed, not a vast sum but could be usefull, all the best,
