Geir was in Norwegian navy service from 1962-1981 then sold to Stapletask Ltd, Sittingbourne, Kent.

I was reading an article the other day that said in the early 2000's Geir was in Scotland still with her twin deltics fitted...I wonder where they went to?

Hi John,
How's it going? Yes, I remember the Finnish one too, a Nuoli I think.
Hi OC,
You ain't gonna get any of them thar Deltics in a MASB, but they'd go in here a treat;

Now that would be a cool running-mate for the Archer!

Yes it's been a while since I posted on here.
Christian, yes I do agree the deltics would be a tad big for the MASB. I'm sure I could find a use for them somewhere mind...i'll have to settle for some smaller motors
I have seen that Dark variant before, am I right in assuming it is just that one and Dark Scout left? (as far as people know). Also, while we're on the subject of the later craft, is the brave variant still for sale abroad? (Norway I think)
Cheers,
Owen

There are some updates on the Danish Braves here; http://www.shipspotting.com/gallery/photo.php?lid=1890774" rel="nofollow - http://www.shipspotting.com/gallery/photo.php?lid=1890774
As far as I know there are no more Darks in existence other than the 2 you mention although they may crop up, in Italy perhaps. The Vasama is discussed here; http://www.maritimeforum.fi/index.php?topic=9508.0
The Tjeld class in Cornwall is mentioned several times here, she did have her Deltics back in 2001; http://www.ptfnasty.com/ptfengland.htm" rel="nofollow - http://www.ptfnasty.com/ptfengland.htm
