Hi there,
Just looked up on "what's new" tab and see the work they are doing restoring PT305, some five years of work to date, remember seeing the news of its first arrival, recall it was in two halves? that could be wrong....original engines and parts, new fabricated as needed, great to see, used to be one on the Thames, lifted badly and ruined, empty hull though....but we see fantastic current works here to MTB 219 and HSL 2552, and never forgetting on going with MTB 102 and HDML Medusa amongst others.... There are several quite good youtube videos, overview style one here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UNmB-1wq5n4 It must be my inner boat geek, but I love the videos of boats being restored and worked on. Another one that is also worth looking at is PT658, a short video can be seen https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gUiZY9rD-fw" Cheers

Hi there,
Just had an e-mail newsletter from PT305, I inquired about the vessel, and was signed up! which was no problem, fantastic work being done, now the details as they say, gun mount for 40mm and using photo of the 658, new generators but testing of original Packards....., all good stuff, Johnk |
