Hi there,

While working on the Medway Queen paddle steamer at Ramsgate till the 25th May as part of the 75th anniversary of operation Dynamo, we are staying at Manston, at the fire training school, in the officers mess, a magnificent painting by R J Mitchell 2009, a19 year old telegraphist on MTB 48, shows himself with a rifle on the bridge trying to fend of the enemy planes, shows the Swordfish of course, other CF vessels, and the three German ships...as I say great picture, of course memorial to the attack on the harbour wall in Ramsgate, and we now have MTB 219 afloat again, one day as mentioned before, perhaps, albeit not easy I know, in the harbour, MTB 102 came in on Wednesday PM and left with the flotilla next day, what a sight.
