Names and numbers. Do any of these click? This is regarding an ex ASR officer
William Eric Heworth. I am doing research for his sister and daughter. Who tell me he was not active at Dunkirk but was mainly stationed at Shetland and Norway. but at the DDay landings he was stationed at Poole with the following craft.2634,2689,2561,2678,2632.F.Braddy,L.Brookes,JorT. andrews,Harold Lowe,Doc Piercy,WG Foy,Je Bowles,A.Arden,Geo. Butterworth, and W. Payuengy Before D Day a comendation which read to HSL's 106&144 Ml201RPB "Forthought" Target boat357
"The cooperation of the abovevessels under your command were instumentalin the saving of 21 aircrews"
I was a member of the ASR Club at one time but dropped out when there were still men present at the meetings who saw active sevice during the war. I was post war but had a taste of two Post War rescue missions. I am still in touch with an ASRCub member but only the Target boat rang bells
Any input appreciated
